Whiterock Beach Hotel + Waterpark

The food and drinks were excellent, and the staff made us feel welcome. Naya Bar had a relaxing but lively atmosphere that worked well for both the adults and the kids. It made for an unforgettable family getaway and a lovely chance to make memories together 🥰🎂

We spent three days and two nights here for our anniversary, and it was a memorable stay. The staff, from the lobby all the way to the beach, kept greeting us and checking how things were going or if we needed anything. They were clearly eager to give their best, even when tired, and made us feel like VIPs. Their service showed us what Filipino hospitality feels like. Thank you so much, Whiterock Subic, and all the staff. For us, this stay was hard for other resorts in Subic to beat.

There’s a lot to explore at Whiterock Beach Hotel and Waterpark, with water parks, slides, grass, and beaches for kids and adults. My family had a great couple of nights unwinding. I use a cane, and there were plenty of service vehicles to help me get around when walking became too much. The price was a great deal and included full breakfast, with the kids eating free. Ralph, Ivan, CJ, Brian, and a few others whose names I can’t remember gave impressive, attentive service, and we’re very thankful. Kuya of the lifeguards also made sure the children were looked after in the inflatable park area. The restrooms were clean and well cared for. The one by the beach smelled a bit, which was understandable with limited ventilation, one toilet, and frequent use. We did see black mold in the bathroom and several mosquitoes in the rooms and hall. Citronella or citrus in the hallways might make them less appealing to mosquitoes. We’ll be back. I’ve booked or tried to reserve this resort several times, and the management and booking staff have come across as inexperienced and disconnected from guests. You’d think they’d welcome repeat visitors who have spent over 100K on their top villas, but that hasn’t been my experience. I can’t understand how a three-star resort can quote 20K to 30K or more per night for its old rooms and facilities. Negotiating the price to something fair has always been a struggle, and it feels like the resort would rather price people out than encourage them to return. The rates seem to keep climbing to unreasonable levels. A flight and room in Boracay could cost less than what they quote. In one 24-hour period, I was quoted 22K and then 30K plus for the same room. It seems like staff may be working on commission, since they appear to mark up the price as much as they can.
