The staff were accommodating and easy to talk to when we asked to change rooms, and I really appreciated their attitude. But the room itself made our stay very uncomfortable, and we couldn’t use the full booking. I chose Go Hotels North EDSA because it’s convenient for SM North EDSA and seemed reasonable for a budget hotel based on the reviews. As soon as we arrived, though, there was a moldy smell. In the morning I could see mold in the bathroom, and the air felt poor. I’m sensitive to mold and air quality, so I barely slept, and my companion had a severe reaction. It seemed like mold in the bathrooms might be a common problem. The air conditioner also felt like it hadn’t been serviced in a long time, leaving the room stale and heavy. I wasn’t expecting luxury, but cleanliness and decent air quality are basic needs. With regular deep cleaning, proper AC maintenance, and mold removal, people might be willing to pay a little more for a comfortable, healthy stay. The staff gave good service, but the room conditions need serious improvement.

The hallway was dim, and the room had stains and mold. I assumed the bad reviews might be isolated cases because Go Hotels is a business hotel chain, but I was wrong. You may get better value at other nearby hotels, maybe even the popular love hotels.

Everything else was fine, but my experience with Hannah at reception was not. She told me to wait without saying how long, and I later found out it would be two hours. When I asked questions, her answers were just one word. In a hospitality job, she should learn to provide better customer service.

I had the same air-conditioning problem during our stay that other reviews mention. It made the room much less comfortable, and it was really disappointing to see that the issue still seemed unresolved by management.

bring your own towel and toothbrush if you check in here lol. i asked twice for a towel and they still didn't bring one. also no hot water in the shower, and the AC wasn't working well.
