OYO 809 Crowne One Condo (Vaccinated Staff)

The room we had booked had a broken AC, so we were moved to another one. There were ants and roaches, the water pressure was weak, and the elevator was painfully slow. Hopefully no one has an emergency while staying there. Bring your own toiletries, extension cords, and other personal things. One building entrance is very narrow, while the other only opens on a set schedule. The reception space is decent and roomy, but the lobby gets quite hot because ventilation is poor. We were on the 8th floor. The receptionist seemed nice, though a bit scattered while helping us. It's not a luxury stay, which makes sense for the price. The location was handy for where we needed to go, at least. :)

Agoda confirmed my booking at Crowne One, but when I got there they said they had no room available. They still refused to refund me, even though they had accepted the booking. There was no help or alternative offered. Why take a reservation if you can't accommodate the guest? A really terrible experience. Be careful booking here, since you could end up paying for nothing.

We were lucky the host had left one room open, so we didn't have to go elsewhere. My husband had booked online and the reservation was confirmed, with an arrival time of 10-11 pm. When we called on arrival, the host said she wasn't there and wasn't expecting anyone. She gave us the room number and said she'd wake us in the morning to fill something out. The room didn't match the listing. There was no hot shower, the bathroom was dirty, and there were no toiletries. The refrigerator was plugged in but not working.

I was disappointed by the bathroom, with hair everywhere and dirt in the sink, and there was a cockroach in the kitchen. The linen didn't smell clean, so I couldn't tell if it had been washed. Parking costs 200 overnight. The room size was fine, and there was a fridge and microwave, though I didn't use either, so I can't say if they worked. It's an option if your budget is tight. For another 500, you could get better accommodation and facilities on Airbnb. I was traveling with my toddler and a nanny, so I needed to save money while finding space for three single beds, two double beds, or one queen and one single.
