Athena's Guest House

There’s no elevator, and the rooms are on the 3rd FLOOR, so this is NOT SUITABLE FOR SC GUESTS. Also, breakfast isn’t included in the booking and they don’t offer FREE Breakfast. It costs around P95 and needs to be ordered beforehand, since there are no attendants working at night, only security personnel. The room itself is quite good and has nice A/C.

The rooms are okay for the price, but the hotel was being renovated when I stayed. You have to get around scaffolding, and the paint smell in the rooms is irritating. Maybe the hotel should pause operations during construction.

I’ve stayed here several times, and it’s good value for the money. The room is spacious and looks modern, with a flat-screen TV, a great bed, and an AC that works well and is very quiet. It’s also super clean!

Getting around the building means climbing very steep stairs, since there’s no elevator. Our room also picked up some noise from the gas station out front. Inside, the bedroom looked clean and modern, with basic but decent furniture. The staff were very helpful, the hot shower was great, and the aircon was strong. It’s close enough to Robinsons North to walk, though the route is uphill and I personally wouldn’t walk along that road. The bathroom looks worn and needs an update.
