We were delighted and felt so blessed to spend one night here. The ambiance was awesome and breathtaking, and all the staff were very friendly and caring in their roles. Especially William, Jannika, Joel, Baste, Celine, Kristen, Gerald, Marwin, Roger.

Breakfast for four came with our Executive Room, and the weekend champorado and taho were a highlight. Escala has a cozy feel, with soft linens and good toiletries, and the Taal breeze adds to the laid-back atmosphere. The staff made the holiday feel special, from opening our car doors to the chef checking that breakfast was just right. We really appreciated the kind treatment.

The staff were lovely, and we had a nice view of Taal Volcano. Our room was clean when we arrived on Sunday, and the breakfast tasted good. It was just very quiet in the breakfast area, and I missed having music on. The pool isn't heated, so it isn't really suitable for seniors to swim.

My old shoes fell apart while I was visiting a friend who had checked in, and two men working in the lobby immediately offered me hotel slippers and a tote bag. I wasn't staying there, just visiting, so their help meant a lot and saved me some trouble. I didn't catch their names, but I really commend them for going out of their way. Kindness like that feels rare these days, and I'm very grateful.

The balcony view was stunning, and the Prestige Room was spotless and clearly well looked after. We loved it and are already looking forward to returning. ❤️
