Most of our experience was good, and the staff were very accommodating. The pool was the reason I gave three stars. I walked all the way around the Asian Village to find it and had expected it might be private, since it looked small enough for only about 3-5 adults. Instead, guests from every villa can use it, so another family could swim in the same pool as us. Sharing would be fine if the pool were bigger. Given its size, it would work better as a private pool for one villa. There was also a large area that looked like it could be used to expand it. Since the villa is meant for families, a small pool for toddlers would help too. We had a lot of children with us, and they could only swim in the shallow jacuzzi area, even though that’s meant for adults. That’s it. We had a great stay, but there are a few things that could use improvement and renovation.

We stayed over Christmas and had a lovely time. The rooms were great, and the pool and hottub were nicely maintained. The staff and food were great too, and they let us bring in outside food and wine. It’s a quiet spot away from Tagaytay, but just a short ride away and well off the main road.

I was hoping to find some peace and quiet, and AVT gave me that. It’s a relaxing place in the heart of Tagaytay, and the staff were very polite and quick to respond. The food could be better, though: portions were small and the presentation was very simple. The toiletries in the Guest Kits also looked a bit cheap for the fairly upscale nightly rate. Still, it’s highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful stay.

The room was comfortable and nice, with both a ceiling fan and air conditioning, plus a water heater. Getting to the rooms was tough in the rain, though, because the path got muddy and slippery. It needs more pebbles or stone steps.

The bathroom was huge and our room was clean. All the staff, from the front desk to room service, were very accommodating, and the food portions were generous. We had a great stay!
