The rooms are dated, but still good. The location is prime, with easy access to major attractions and restaurants nearby.

Magallanes Square Hotel made for an amazing stay. Breakfast was delicious each morning, and the amenities were well maintained. My room was clean, spacious, and had everything I needed to be comfortable. The staff were welcoming and attentive from the moment I arrived, and the location made it easy to get to local attractions and restaurants. I highly recommend it.

The location is convenient, near SB Reserve Hiraya, with ample parking and food, Pasalubong, remittance, and a convenience store nearby. The late checkout until 2 pm felt like a “Wow, thanks?” gesture, especially since it looked like we were the only ones checked in. I can’t blame the staff for interruptions from faulty generators, but we had no electricity or water from 9 am until checkout, so we couldn’t bathe or brush our teeth. For 2,500 for one night without breakfast, that was just not worth it. The staff could be heard talking and laughing loudly, along with vehicle noise outside. There were also many ants and a moldy bathroom. I didn’t take a photo because I wanted to let it pass, but decided I had to share this review. Room 106. It looks good in the marketing and pictures, but no. Please book somewhere else.

For budget-conscious travelers, this is a decent and convenient place to stay in Tagaytay. It offers good value at an affordable price, with Skyranch and People's Park nearby for touring. The lobby is spacious and well lit, and the rooms are large enough for a group of six, with basic amenities including a TV, air conditioning, and a bathroom with toiletries. They also offer free Wi-Fi that’s decently fast, plus complimentary breakfast and a range of dishes.
