RedDoorz Plus New Orleans Auberge Hotel

For our first Tagaytay staycation, we found a place we’d gladly return to. It was a good break from city stress, and there are fast food spots, restaurants like Andoks and Romantic Baboy, convenience stores, malls, police stations, a gas station, and banks nearby. The downsides were that there were no guards at the hotel, and sometimes nobody was at the lobby. Still, five stars from us. I hope to see improvements when we come back.

We booked an overnight stay a month ahead, on Nov 3, and got confirmation by email on Nov 15. On the day we arrived to check in, we found out they’d been renovating since the start of November. They said RedDoorz and Agoda had miscommunicated and we hadn’t been informed. By then, cancelling wasn’t really an option. Finding somewhere that same day was hard, and the price would surely have doubled. They sent us instead to CitiaVivere Suites???, a cheap motel several kilometers from the city area with limited public transportation. It was also under RedDoorz. The room was very poor, everything looked ugly, and water was scarce. This was unacceptable. I hope it doesn’t happen to anyone else.

We’ve been here twice. For around 1500 per day for 2 pax, it’s a nice budget stay. The rooms are clean and have a cr, hot shower, bed, and cable tv. The staff are nice and accommodating. There’s also a piano guests can use in the lobby. It’s close to a mall, pasalubong center, 7-11 convenience store, and some restaurants.

A decent, inexpensive place with no frills, just what you need. The hotel looks nice, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. It’s near major restaurants, things to do, and a convenience store. There’s parking outside the hotel in front of the next building, which has the same owner. They also have hot water and a TV.
