The stay was comfortable, with restaurants close by and attractions conveniently nearby.

Handy for travelers passing through. It’s opposite Fora Mall and beside a caLtex gas station, with plenty of restaurants within walking distance.

We paid 1800 PHP for a clean, spacious, practical room with a king-size bed and air conditioning that worked well, so this hotel suited us. Breakfast wasn’t included, though, and the curtains let in too much light at night, especially with the outdoor lights. Ask for an upper-floor room, since the hotel is by a busy intersection. There are plenty of nearby places to eat, mostly fast-food or chain options, and not necessarily great quality. The bus stop for Manila is across the road, and the road down to Talisay and the lake boat and volcano trip is right in front. Staff were very attentive, although many seemed to be trainees. There are lots of hotels in Tagaytay, but many feel expensive for what they offer. A lot have clifftop views over Taal Lake and its famous volcanoes. This hotel is being renovated on the lower level. It must have been wonderful about fifteen years ago, and I hope the work brings it back to its former glory.
