I had a horrible experience here. Someone knocked gently on my door at 3 AM. Luckily, I was awake and didn’t open it. I reported it to the front desk in the morning and asked to see the CCTV footage, but they said there were no cameras. I also asked to speak to the manager or someone senior so I could escalate it, but they wouldn’t provide anyone. I believe the person at my door was one of the male staff. The staff were unprofessional. I’d say a big no to booking here, especially if you’re a woman travelling alone. 🤬😤

I’d stayed here before, but this time Room 201, a standard twin room, was better than I expected. The WiFi was surprisingly fast and stable across my two phones and laptop. The card access door, AC, TV, lights, and bathroom facilities all worked. The bed was a little stiff but fine to sleep on. It’s some distance from the malls and other places in Tagbilaran, though still walkable.

On my third check-in, they put me on the fourth floor, with no elevator, in the room farthest from the stairs. I’d booked two weeks ahead and, as a returning guest, thought they might give me a better room like on my first two stays. Instead, I got a really inconvenient one. Very poor service.

The crew were polite and accommodating, and the price, around 700+ to 1k+ PHP depending on the room, could work if you’re on a tight budget. There’s parking, though their disclaimer says to park at your own risk, which makes you wonder how safe your vehicle is. It’s near some establishments and walkable eateries. The area seems safe, but it gets very quiet at night and the alley is dark. The rooms made a bad first impression. I booked a standard room, then upgraded to a twin, but both felt gloomy and old compared with the bright, clean photos. The floor looked either like it had dried spills on it or was just dirty and dusty. I also spotted a cockroach in the bathroom as soon as I walked in, which makes you wonder how often the rooms are cleaned. The WiFi was barely usable, around 0-3 Mbps, about as good as mobile data. Maybe some rooms are closer to the routers, but I don’t know how other guests found it surprisingly fast. If you’re not picky and only need a cheap place to sleep, it may be fine. For most people, I’d suggest staying elsewhere.

This is an inexpensive option in the city, and it has free WiFi and TV access. My mom and I stayed here for the rest of our trip, though I still preferred the last resort I’d visited, even though it cost more. The building needs repairs, and there’s no elevator to the fifth floor. I also didn’t care for the building design or the rooms. The bathrooms were okay but could be laid out better, and there isn’t enough parking for guests. It’s nice if you’re looking for a cheap place to stay.
