The room was tiny but clean and affordable, and the balcony was nice. The TV was top notch, and both the bidet and hot shower were big pluses. The sign outside says AMS, not RED DOOR, which made the place hard to identify. Best part was the young woman at the front desk, she was great.

Breakfast wasn’t available when I was there, which was the one downside. The rooms felt like good value and had a hotel feel. It’s a bit away from the centre, though you can walk if you’re up for a long one, and there’s a scooter rental nearby. The staff earned my fifth star by really trying to help me sort out transport.

We paid under 800 pesos and only stayed briefly, with an easy check-out. The room and comfort room were both spacious, and there was an extra sink for laundry. It felt old and, to me, needed a deep clean, though there were several sockets, two towels, two blankets, and hangers. No mirror in the comfort room. We arrived late after commuting from Dao Terminal to Dampas, and paid 100 pesos for two people, probably more than we needed to. The gate was shut, so at first I thought our Agoda booking had failed, but it opened and a receptionist was there. We were too tired to take photos.

We extended our stay because the place was clean and in good condition, and the WiFi worked very well. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well, and they provided fresh soap and other things. There’s a friendly, helpful woman at reception. It’s a little outside the centre, though that’s no secret, and a scooter makes getting around easy. Rental is about 300 meters away. We’d come back, especially for the good value. The sign on the building says Ams apartelle, so I’m not sure why the booking uses a different name.
