F1 Hotel Manila

From the parking garage to the front desk, everything went smoothly. They offered us noon check-in instead of 2pm, and the room felt homey, contemporary, and roomy. We got the king size bed we requested instead of two double beds, along with the laminate floor we preferred over carpet. The aircon was very cool, and there was an electric kettle, hair dryer, toothbrushes, hot water, and a very nice shower that wasn’t cramped. My wife and I had a great overnight stay from Christmas Eve into the next day. I’d nearly cancelled after reading negative reviews the day before, mentioning no bath mat, weak aircon, only warm hot water, a smelly or unclean room, and an old, outdated hotel that needed updating. I had paid in full in mid December. Then I used the emailed invitation to call and explain what we expected for a good stay, and almost everything was right. The location was nice, just a few minutes from the center of Bonifacio High Street. We got a very good rate that included buffet breakfast. To get that rate, make sure to register as a member before booking. I’ll recommend it to friends and relatives.

Our family of five stayed in a Double Deluxe Room while celebrating our sons’ birthdays, and having an extra bed for our eldest made us much more comfortable. The birthday setup and cookies for the birthday boys were a thoughtful touch. The kids especially enjoyed the play area and swimming pool, where free-to-use floaties, water guns, bubbles, and toys kept them entertained. The breakfast buffet was good, too. We couldn’t park in the hotel lot because all the spaces were full. There’s a nearby pay parking area, and we paid ₱650 for 22 hours. The staff made us feel welcome, and overall it was a lovely family stay at F1 Hotel Manila. We’d consider coming back.

The main drawback for me was the price. It felt a bit expensive, especially since I booked only 2 weeks before the date, but we still had a great experience. The location was good, though traffic can build up because it’s accessible from the main road and near uptown and high street areas. Our deluxe double bed room was larger than expected and more than enough for two. The bathroom was standard sized, with very strong water pressure, and both the lavatory and shower had heated water. Breakfast was a standard buffet, and the food was generally good. Staff were excellent about offering coffee, water, and other food. Room service responded pretty quickly to orders, and cleaning was quick as well. I’d seen comments about parking availability, but we had a dedicated spot for our entire stay, even though we drove out several times.

The children loved the outdoor pool and its toys, and the play area was fun for kids and adults. Our family also enjoyed the cozy room and tasty breakfast buffet. The whole hotel seemed thoughtfully set up for families, and our time together was memorable. Staff were welcoming and attentive, and their handling of a minor room upgrade issue over the phone was especially good. They offered us a complimentary 3-hour stay, which we appreciated. When our youngest daughter left her favorite teddy bear behind, we first thought it was in our Grab car. The front desk quickly confirmed it had been turned in safely to Lost and Found. She was so relieved and happy to get it back. The F1 Hotel BGC team made the stay feel special through their kindness and attention. We’re grateful for how they cared for the teddy bear, and I’d recommend the hotel to families looking for a comfortable, fun, welcoming stay.
