Hotel101 - Fort

We spent four days here and found the room clean and comfortable. The staff were nice and attentive, especially Housekeeping, and the location is very convenient, just a few steps from BGC Market Market and SM Aura. The main frustration was breakfast. The buffet was too salty and too sweet, and the bread and pancakes weren’t soft. The chef needs to improve it ASAP. For its rate in BGC, the hotel is good overall.

The ocean view was fantastic, and the hotel is in a very convenient spot, about a 3 minute walk to SM Aura. Free parking was a plus. But at 9000 php a night, this was never worth it. I paid 2200 php, which felt enough. The room was okay, the mattress was really good, and the place was crowded. The lighting was horrible. There was a light only over the toilet in the bathroom, none at the handwash, so getting ready or using the stationary hair dryer meant doing it in the dark. The shower had the same problem. The soap containers were empty, and the portions provided weren’t enough for two people. The kettle needed power but there was no socket nearby. When I found one, the kettle was too big for it. There were no dishes despite a fully furnished kitchen, and no socket at the desk, so working wasn’t possible. There was no bedside light either, so you had to sit in bed with the full room light on. Check-in organization should be better for a big hotel.

Breakfast was a real highlight. There was a balanced spread of local dishes and basic breakfast choices, the food stayed warm, refills came promptly, and the setup made it easy to eat without feeling rushed. It added real value to the stay. Hotel 101 Fort was comfortable and satisfying overall. My room was clean, well maintained, and practical for both work and rest. Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and staff were polite and responsive throughout. The location was handy for getting around BGC.

On our first stay at Hotel 101 Fort BGC Taguig, we were very impressed. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful, and the service was exceptional. We liked the location and the hotel restaurant. The breakfast buffet had a good range of Filipino food, and there’s a pool and gym next to it with a nice view of the city and SM Aura just across the road. The price was very reasonable. Our room was clean and had a safety box. Venice Grand Canal Mall and SM Mall of Asia were a short taxi ride away. We’ll definitely return.
