We lived in this condominium for a year, and the cockroaches were a constant problem. On our first night, I woke up to 3 dead cockroaches and sent a photo to the broker. They kept showing up by the door and in the kitchen, apparently coming through the exhaust. We booked the building's pest control several times, but the roaches were still there the next day. The strong chemicals gave us headaches and colds, and we tried everything we could think of: Baygon cockroach traps, Baygon Gel, glue traps from an online shop, powder, DE Powder, and two large Baygon sprays, one strong and one water based. We inhaled so many chemicals over that year trying to get rid of them, but they kept coming back, and I often saw them coming from outside the door. The floor didn't seem to be cleaned every day. I sometimes saw cleaners and appreciated it, but most of the time it felt neglected. The lobby looks beautiful, but our floor was really unclean. Admin was strict about rules but couldn't keep the place clean or pest-free. When I emailed the property manager, it felt like we were being blamed for the cockroaches. They said they'd talked to our neighbors and that the neighbors hadn't had the same issue. But when I asked random people in the elevator, it was clear they had cockroaches in their rooms too. I understood the package delivery rules, but they wouldn't accept paper bags for our wedding. I was frustrated and booked a lalamove to take them to fort Santiago, which is so far away. Carrying the package while out was really stressful. The refund for the two function rooms also took longer than expected. I got no response until I emailed and cc'd all the people who needed to be included. Most of the staff were unfriendly, and I was treated badly. The whole experience was terrible and traumatizing. I've stayed in other CONDOMINIUMS and never had anything like this. I wouldn't go back. We were due to end our stay on July 29, and I wanted to move out on July 27 and 28, a Saturday and Sunday. I know we were late telling them, but they said moving in and out wasn't allowed on Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. We had moved in on a Sunday before, so that really frustrated me. EDIT: Sept 4, more than a month after we moved out, we still hadn't received our security deposit. They said it was being held because of wall repairs, but it took them a month to tell us. If I hadn't asked for the 5th time, I wouldn't have heard back from the broker. This Broker from Megaworld had terrible service. They sprang the charges on us and immediately said repainting would cost 12k!!! I had already checked the labor and materials rates and was told around 5k, so I asked for an itemized breakdown. They repainted every side of the room, though we expected charges for the small area on the left side. If they don't resolve this, we'll complain to the Brgy of Taguig. I wish I could be done with these stressful people. They said the wall was heavily damaged and needed repainting, but where? We even had the ceiling cleaned because it was so dusty from humidity.
