The staff made quarantine manageable, which is why I gave this place five stars. I could ask the cleaning ladies to pick up food from the karinderia: for 100 pesos I got rice, meat and vegetables, plus a 50 peso tip. Beef silog, with egg and rice, was one option. They also let me use the phone for a few calls. I had food delivered from Jollibee, Chowking and Goldilocks, and Jollibee was quickest since it was nearby. My sister-in-law could leave a phone, SIM and load for me at the door, though visitors couldn't come inside. With no fridge, she also brought a styro box with ice and drinks. The TV had TV5 and CNN. There was a shower and bidet, but the water pressure was so low that I ended up using a timba and tabo, a bucket and dipper. My swab result came on day seven and I was allowed out, but visitors were still not allowed. The room didn't have a microwave or fridge, and costs more if you want those. I had expected a comfortable desk for studying after seeing one in an Agoda photo, but my room didn't have it. If you're on a budget for quarantine, this worked for me. At the same price, you wouldn't get someone to pick up meals elsewhere, and deliveries would cost more.

There's no elevator, so expect to carry your luggage upstairs. The ground floor has a dental clinic and garage, the admin office is on the second floor, and the rooms start on the third. The online pin for OYO Bldg. is wrong. The right building is on Pampanga St., and RED DOORZ near Mckinley Hill is a better map reference. For the stay itself, the room was spacious for the affordable rate, with clean towels and linens, hot water, and very accommodating staff. Security is there around the clock. 7/11, the Brgy.Hall, Brgy.Health Center, shops and talipapa are within walking distance. Plates and utensils are available if you ask. For longer stays, they don't clean rooms for staff health reasons, but you can request fresh linens, towels and cleaning supplies.

The staff were really friendly, but water from a pipe problem kept flooding the room floor. We had to call for service every time it happened.

The room was okay, though not quite worth that price. The staff were good, though.
