The staff were nice, which is why I’m giving this place two stars. Otherwise, it wouldn’t even deserve zero. The bathroom sink was clogged, and the shower’s hot water barely worked. It was hard to find, too. There was a bright light on all night, and the place was noisy. If you’re planning to sleep here, avoid it. 👎

I was there for three nights of mandatory quarantine in Manila while waiting for my swab test results, and the stay was comfortable and nice. I’m giving it four stars because there’s room for improvement. I had trouble finding the property on Google Maps because I was confused by its name. For an easier search, type A&F transient rooms, which brings up the same place. The room was roomy enough for two and had its own fridge, kettle, microwave, kitchen cabinets, plates, cutlery, mug, glass, and TV. I’ve paid the same at other hotels without those amenities, so I really liked having them. They also gave us bottled water and essentials at check-in, and the bathroom was clean. Small shops are nearby, and fast food ordered through grab took under 30 minutes. The hallway outside the rooms was hot, even though the rooms had air conditioning. I didn’t see an elevator, so taking heavy bags upstairs could be difficult. The air conditioning unit was also noisy.

There were lots of problems, including lots of cockroaches. The power tripped while I was showering, and all the lights and electricity in my room were out for 20 minutes.
