We had a great experience overall and would come back. I stayed for two weeks with my Filipina fiancée. The staff were welcoming and helpful, five stars for them, and the location was great, with local transport along the highway and no trouble getting Grab. The room was decent enough, but there were ants everywhere. We couldn’t leave even a little leftover food without them crawling all over it. There was sometimes noise too, but those were the main issues.

The staff were consistently polite, which is the main reason this gets more than one star. We stayed here around 18 months ago because it was affordable and near our family in Cebu. This time prices were higher, and even though we paid for a superior room, it had no fridge, a smaller bed, and very few bathroom supplies. We had to buy a bucket and ice to keep drinks cold, and water cost about 200% too much. We also had cockroaches as guests. The location was fair, but far from big shops. At night, the nightclub across the carpark had light shows and loud thumping music, which was not relaxing at all. If the price looks appealing, pay a little more or the same for an Airbnb. I wish we had. Never again.

I got a discount by booking online, and the room was much nicer than I expected. It even had Netflix. Sundays can be noisy at night because there’s a club across the way.

We stayed with family at Dosi hotel for two nights, from 12-13th August 2023, and were shocked by the lack of hygiene, standards, and professionalism. We had an eight-month-pregnant woman and two young children with us, which made the room problems especially worrying. On the first night we reported a leaking air conditioner, a broken toilet, and cockroaches. When we came back the next day, after being out for activities, none of it had been fixed, despite the time Dosi had to look into it. They couldn’t offer another room or stop the leak. The air conditioner dripped over the power sockets, and the pregnant woman had to sleep with it leaking and with cockroaches in the room. After we pointed it out, the front desk only gave us an extra towel to soak up the water. There wasn’t a senior staff member available while the manager was on annual leave. The most senior person we could speak to was Greg, a “Trainee Front Office.” We asked for a refund and were outraged when they said we could only get one room refunded if we checked out immediately, at 21:21, with young children already asleep. Our other room, booked under LH23080132028678, had a toilet that wouldn’t flush, broken air conditioning, and a mattress placed on the floor instead of on a bedstand. By the second day we also realized toiletries hadn’t been replenished in either room. A nearby club and poor soundproofing also made it hard for everyone to sleep, with music and dogs barking audible throughout. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone, not even my pets.
