Nacho Hostel Cebu

Cebu is a big city, and this hotel is a long way out, so it wasn’t worth the money for me. They call it a party hostel, but it was completely empty and I could barely meet anyone. The pool water was cloudy and didn’t seem swimmable. At the restaurant, a simple breakfast of bacon and two pancakes took an hour and a half to arrive. My laundry was another problem: they lost some of my clothes and couldn’t find them afterward. On top of that, the beds had BEDBUGS and the sheets were dirty. I really don’t recommend Nacho Hostel.

The room was spacious, but there weren’t any amenities. The one nice thing was the cat. The restroom smelled awful, like it hadn’t been cleaned in years, and the towel looked dirty and was extremely thin. It also cost about 200 pesos extra per towel. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.

The pool wasn’t working during our stay, which is the reason I’m not giving five stars. Otherwise, the place had great vibes, a good breakfast and drinks, and helpful information about other travel you can do in Cebu. The lockers are free, which is nice.

I did enjoy my stay at Nacho Hostel. It was clean, the staff were friendly and accommodating, and Robinson’s Supermarket and other places to eat are nearby. They have a pool and a bar, but I didn’t get to swim, and they were out of sour mix, so I couldn’t order an amaretto sour. Thinking back, I am a little concerned about security. I don’t think a guard was on duty, and my room didn’t have a double lock.
