Acapulco Resort & Suites

I enjoyed the stay enough that I'm already thinking of bringing my grandchildren next time, and the place itself is beautiful, clean, well kept, and has a lovely atmosphere. The shower pressure was very weak, though. For the price and the resort's quality, I expected more from the included breakfast. It was very basic, like something from a budget place, and didn't feel like part of the experience. Still, those things won't put me off returning 😊

A relaxing place with a cozy layout, a nice garden area, and a good atmosphere. The resort is clean and well maintained, with good food and breakfast. The rooms have very good AC, and there's a nice pool and playground for kids.

The sea and Negros Island views are stunning, and having them while eating made the setting really relaxing. That view made up for a lot, since the food itself was just okay. I liked the calamari because it was made from a whole squid, with the tentacles and flaps visible. A lot of restaurants use prepacked, precut rings, which I don't like. The Mongolian beef, though, was overvelveted and tasted like flour. And sliced bread didn't seem like a good match for pasta that costs nearly 400php. They could try a more presentable bread.

We came as Indian guests and asked for vegetarian food. Even though the resort may not officially have an extensive vegetarian menu, the staff and kitchen made a real effort to prepare special dishes for us, including mangu made with moong daal and fresh mixed vegetable soup. The service was kind and efficient, and both custom and regular food was tasty. That willingness to accommodate us really stood out. Acapulco Resort is in Toledo City on Cebu Island's western coast, with sea views and a relaxed setting. It can work for a quick day trip or a longer family stay away from busy Cebu City. The pool is clean and well maintained, and there are different room types for families and groups. The restaurant serves meals and refreshments on site. The coastal views also make a peaceful backdrop for relaxing, dining, or watching the sunset. To get there, you can take a bus or V-Hire from Cebu South Bus Terminal. In Toledo proper, local tricycles or multicabs can take you to the resort. The trip has scenic views of the island's interior and coastline.
