We had the place almost to ourselves for most of our daughter's birthday lunch, which was lovely. She really loves the pool. Staff welcomed us warmly and took time to answer our questions. The grounds are well kept, parking is free and spacious, and there are two pools, one for kids and a larger one for adults. There's an in-house chef, and the food came out on time. I liked the pizza and carbonara. The beef rendang was flaming hot, though I expected the sauce to have a different consistency. We paid only for the food we ordered and ₱200 for the pool for two kids. The table was FREE. We'll definitely be back soon.

My fish was amazingly good, and the menu has quite a few good options. The steak is imported and, according to the person sitting next to me, exceptional. My wife found the pancit too salty, but they promptly offered to remake it. The food took a long time, though there was another order placed at the same time as ours and only one cook. My main complaint is the kitchen. It has a window opening onto the dining area right beside the pool, and when I peeked in, the one chef seemed to be having a lazy day because the place was a mess. The staff seemed very concerned that we were satisfied with everything. They acted as if the owner is strict and particular, which made me think the owner really cares. There's a business card with the owner's phone number in the front lobby, but when I messaged it, staff replied. I'm a businessman myself and wanted to discuss this with the owner directly, but as I suspected, there was no way to reach him without staff getting involved.

We booked two rooms for two nights, with an extra bed in one, at a beautiful location. Booking.com showed a charge of 13,307.67 pesos, or $338.86 Australian dollars. At checkout, the receptionist told my husband card payment carried a 30% surcharge 😳. Our receipt was 29,430.23 pesos, or $764 Australian dollars, which is a $426 surcharge. Breakfast wasn't included, and the extras, including drinks, added up. Our next booking in Cebu city was much cheaper, so watch out for added costs. They say paying cash is better. There were no pool towels, but they were happy for us to use the room towels and ask for more. The problem was that the towels were damp every time. Room 1 may have plumbing issues in the bathroom, but we put up with the smell so we could be across from our kids, who were booked there. We could hear conversations next door, though we were always out, so we didn't complain. We left food outside overnight in the fridge and couldn't eat it the next day because ants got to it first. The fridge didn't close or cool properly, and had to be plugged in when we arrived. Laundry service was a plus and not something every hotel provides, though it costs extra. The hotel is on the main road, so getting a trike or ride to places was easy. At night, someone is always outside watching the front door to keep outsiders from coming in. He didn't carry a gun, but security is always good.

The rooms were clean, the staff friendly, and the food was fantastic. It's easy to get to Toledo by threecycle. Just know the main road is right in front of the rooms, so it gets very noisy at night.

The room itself was fine, but the small kitchen wasn't very useful without a knife, dishwashing soap, or a sponge. Meals were okay, though way overpriced for the quality and especially the tiny portions. They charged 100PH for mashed potatoes and gave literally three spoonfuls. When it rains, you have to eat in your room because there's no real restaurant, just a few plastic tables outside. The bathroom also smelled really bad, possibly due to a plumbing problem. Calling this a resort feels like a lie. We booked and paid for a room with a sea view and balcony, but they tried to put us in a basic room with neither. Even after we showed proof of the reservation and payment, they claimed it was a misunderstanding. We had to negotiate for a long time and threaten to file a complaint through Booking before they finally gave us the sea view room we had booked. Otherwise, we would've spent five days looking at the road instead of the sea. Looking at other comments, it seems like they may have pulled the same thing with other customers too.
