We expected something different from an Airbnb, though I guess we hadn’t asked enough questions beforehand. The location was fine, the building was new, and the bedding and towels were clean. But the accommodation was just one room for a family or group, which doesn’t work well for mixed male and female guests if you want privacy. You’d need to book two rooms. The bathroom had no toiletries fixtures or water heater, and there was no bidet. Breakfast was included, though!

The owners were super nice, and their tips on places to visit and eat were great. We liked the breakfast, and the rooms were okay for the price. Calle Crisologo is walkable, but heavy rain had left a huge puddle on the road while we were there, so we couldn’t walk over. Tricycles are easy to find, making the ride to the center simple. There’s also a shop right beside the place that sells good bagnet.

It’s about a 5-10 minute walk to Calle Crisologo, and the new building felt safer to us than the other places in the heritage village. The room had no chairs, the toilet had no bidet, and the water heater wasn’t working.

We had a great breakfast and found the place really clean, with modern facilities. Calle Crisologo is an easy short walk away. It’s close to the highway, but far enough that traffic noise wasn’t an issue, and we avoided the heavy traffic going into Vigan city itself.

The hospitality, customer service, and food were the highlights, and I’d definitely recommend staying here. It’s a nice, quiet, clean place close to the tourist spots. I did notice a few small issues: no water heater or bidet, and the bathroom sink was clogged. Still, I was very happy with the stay.
