The room was large and had a kitchen, which is useful if you bring groceries or buy food outside to eat in the room. This is a no-dining hotel. The pool across the way was no big deal. Breakfast was disappointing, with instant coffee sachets like Kopiko and Nescafe, plus rice, pancit, and other budget options without better selections. At check-in, reception was very slow and needs more hospitality training. There was no welcome drink in the lobby. Be ready to keep cash on hand for a deposit, since they don’t tell you about it, and apparently even a missing spoon could be an issue. Early check-in and late checkout cost extra, and checkout time is exact with no leeway. When checking out, there wasn’t even a thank you for staying with them.

I picked this hotel for my event because the facilities were new and the location was convenient. The service was disappointing, especially from the front desk and sales staff, who need more hospitality training. Booking the event hall meant standing in the reception area the whole time, which was uncomfortable. Staff didn’t explain the key terms and conditions. They handed me a very long contract full of fine print to sign, so I had to read it while standing there. They also didn’t fully explain the room booking. I had a junior room for the first night and a free deluxe room for the second, included with the event venue. Days earlier, I had made sure they knew I wanted the same room for both nights because I had a lot of event things with me. The front desk never told me I’d have to check out and switch rooms. On the event day they said I had to leave by 11am or pay a late checkout fee until the next check-in at 3pm. I had no choice but to pay for four extra hours. They also didn’t mention the free breakfast for the first day. I only found out there was no free breakfast on the second day after asking. A package delivered to the front desk wasn’t brought to my room or given to me at checkout. They told me about it a day after I’d checked out, so I had to travel back a long way from out of town. The most frustrating part was getting my ₱20,000 security deposit back after the event. They refund by check, which takes 1-2 weeks, and it has to be picked up in person. They wouldn’t allow an online or bank deposit. The check is collected at the main office, not the hotel, and only on weekdays from 3-4 PM. They hadn’t explained that at booking. It’s 2025, and they should use technology for this. Sending someone on your behalf is annoying, especially if you live far from the city or abroad. Management didn’t seem to care about guest convenience. I had to get angry and beg before they released my check at a time that worked for me.
