The staff were friendly, which was nice, but the rooms need repainting or renovation. There was also a foul odor that I guess was coming from the septic tank. This felt more like a transient stay than a hotel.

A decent, clean room at a good budget price, with hot water for the shower. Calle Crisologo is within walking distance, so it's a great place to stay near Vigan if you're watching your spending.

The staff at Happy Grey Hotel welcomed our beagle and golden retriever wholeheartedly. Traveling with our fur babies can be a challenge, and Ate Shin went out of her way one morning when my golden got a little too mischievous. I was relieved to feel supported instead of stressed. The owner was gracious, too, and offered to arrange a visit to a bagnet factory. With Kuya Paul, we ended up at what felt like the holy grail of bagnet. It was so delicious that the side trip became a highlight. We stayed three days and two nights, and for such an affordable price, the experience went way beyond what we expected. The room was spacious and spotless, with cold air-conditioning and a reliable hot shower. We left with full hearts and full stomachs, and will definitely be back. If you want an affordable, comfortable place where people treat you like family, Happy Grey Hotel is a great choice in Vigan. Highly recommended!

We paid a P1500 deposit for two beds and left our luggage when we arrived early. The storage and laundry room had heavy black mold across the ceiling and walls. The hotel seemed quaint, but it was far from the city center. We decided not to risk staying in a moldy room, found another hotel, and gave up our deposit. When it rained during our stay, we were glad we hadn't stayed here.
