Metro Vigan Inn - Annex

The room was tiny, dirty-feeling, smelled bad, and had no windows. The towels they gave us were stained, and there were no blankets or comforters. They didn’t provide a free toothbrush or soap either. Water pressure was low and sometimes too weak for the heater. Sleep was awful because the walls were paper thin. Our door was beside reception, so we could hear people talking outside clearly at all hours. Footsteps from the room above were also far too loud. On the second night, someone else’s phone alarm woke me at 5:45am. Unbelievable. There’s no hotel parking. You have to use the public street, which fills up early in the morning, even on weekdays, so good luck finding a spot. Bad value for money.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and being near the plaza made the location really convenient. The room walls are so thin, though, that you can hear every noise from the lobby.

Right in the heart of Vigan City, with Calle Crisologo and the main attractions an easy walk away. It felt secure, the staff were courteous, and the place was clean. The amenities were great for a budget inn.

Our first room was moldy, smelled of it, and had no windows. The replacement room was fine.
