Krishatel Leisure Inn

Krishatel is good value for money, and its central city location is a plus. We spent 7 nights there. The room was clean and very large for a couple, with what looked like enough space for an extra bed for a family of 3 or 4. The AC worked excellently, and the security guards were very helpful. I would suggest adding at least a small table, since there wasn't a proper one for breakfast.

We've booked here many times, and the neat, clean rooms and the other staff have usually been good. But on July 8, 2023, at 3:30 pm, the receptionist was rude and made us feel unwelcome as soon as we entered. I smiled and said, “GOOD AFTERNOON,” but she didn't respond. That was when her unwelcoming attitude started. She only changed her manner after my husband asked if she was angry. Three stars for the staff overall, minus two because of that receptionist.

The shower was fine, and basic toiletries were provided. We stayed 8 nights in a room with two single beds. It had enough space, but only very basic furniture: a large wardrobe, two monobloc chairs, and a work table beneath the wall-mounted TV. The Wi-Fi kept cutting out, and my 5G data wasn't good either. Breakfast was included, but it was very basic, usually a pre-sliced omelette with one hotdog or meatball, and much the same almost every day. The coffee came from 3-in-1 sachets, so don't expect brewed coffee. Housekeeping only came when we requested it each time, apparently that's the house rule. The staff were okay, though reception wasn't very accommodating.

The room itself was okay, but the bathroom floor mat was hanging on the towel rack when we arrived. Ew. The receptionist and some kitchen staff weren't accommodating, and when we asked for water at breakfast, they acted like they couldn't hear us. The staff in general didn't feel friendly or welcoming, and the breakfast food didn't taste good. I wouldn't recommend this to tourists if that's the kind of hospitality they'll get.
