Stargaze Hotel & Apartments

The manager kept asking for my passport and visa after saying he was suspicious because my number seemed international. He didn't explain why, and the repeated demands made me feel uncomfortable and scared. I sent the documents out of fear and frustration. The staff had no manners, and his attitude was creepy and unprofessional. After a long drive, my husband and I had taken the room because we couldn't find another option. I wanted to check out right away, but my husband suggested we stay through the night and leave in the morning. The rooms were filthy, the washroom was extremely dirty, the lights kept having problems, the AC didn't work, and no one answered when we called for help. It seems international guests don't stay here, probably because the hotel is so filthy. I would never recommend it to anyone.

The cheapest room was 3000, and I felt that price was justified. Rooms come in different categories, and there's a small restaurant outside the hotel where you can eat. I was very satisfied. I booked by phone the day before, then arrived at 03:30 AM after a car problem made us late. The manager was still there and accommodated us. He was very cooperative. Recommended.

The "Royal Room" was a letdown, especially after I skipped a standard room and paid more for comfort. The bathroom tiles were filthy, and when I complained, the manager said they'd tried but couldn't clean it. There was no generator despite the promised backup, so we spent the whole night without electricity. Soap and towels were missing unless we asked, and the sheets were stained, with dirty blue-stained used towels. Cockroaches and red flies were everywhere, as shown in the attached photos. The elevator was broken, so I had to keep taking the stairs and resting on each floor because of my knee pain. Open sealed water bottles, flies' mud nests, and cracked walls added to how unhygienic it was. Don't book here if you care about your health or comfort. Zero stars if possible.

It's right in the city center, with all kinds of food shops and shopping centers nearby, and the mountain views are awesome. We had a wonderful stay for a very reasonable price. The rooms and bathrooms were neat and clean, the environment felt safe, and the staff were polite and cooperative. There's a lift and hot water too. Highly recommended.
