I’d been here before and it was good, but last night was a disaster. We were the only customers, yet they still got our order wrong, took far too long to bring the food, and the place was badly mismanaged.

The rooms look out over the river, and electricity was on the whole time. Hot water was only available at night and in the morning. The food is great, and even in winter I’d give the place five stars for a stay in Gilgit.

Our room ran out of hot water because the geyser was jammed. After we complained several times, they let us use another room for warm water. The internet also kept acting up.

The rooftop deck was the highlight for me, especially the food served there. It’s a good-value place with clean, tidy rooms and the basic facilities you need. A handy stopover in Gilgit.

I was really pleased with my last visit to indus lodge. The food quality was great, especially the fast food and white karahaie. The waiter service and food prices were good too. A lovely place to visit.
