When we came back in June 2023, the room was in dreadful shape. The sheets and pillowcases were filthy, there was only one bulb, and both the shower and mirror were broken. The new manager barely seemed to care when we asked for the shower to be fixed, and told us to use the tub and jug instead. We had a much better impression on our 2021 visit, when the room was good and the manager cooperative. I wouldn't recommend this guest house.

The manager was the one good part of our stay. He was attentive and seemed invested in the guests. The room's lighting fixture started leaking water, leaving a puddle in the middle of the room, so we had to cut our visit short. There were ants under the mattress, with one or two coming up onto the surface. The AC was set to its lowest temperature, and we had to ask the front desk whenever we wanted it changed because they kept the remote. There was no Wi-Fi available when we arrived. The shower stayed cold. Its head was close to the ground, coated in limescale, and only half the holes worked. Some light fixtures were missing, and one ceiling fan rattled when running. It was held together with cardboard and tape. The bedding and pillows were stained on arrival, and the replacements we requested were even worse.

It’s a good place to stay, right across from Centaurus. There was a small issue with cleanliness, but I could overlook it.

The staff were pleasant, but the arrangements weren’t good. Even the washrooms were dirty.
