The rooms were very clean and had no smell, and parking and breakfast were free. It's a great spot if you're visiting an embassy in Islamabad, about a 10 minute drive from all the embassies. Staff were polite and courteous, and they ironed my clothes for a small fee.

The double room was comfortable and clean for my family, though some staff were a bit rude. The old man, who I assume was the owner, came across as bossy but was also a gentleman. Meals cost too much, and tea was served in coffee cups for Rs. 75 a cup. I found them miserly, even asking us to switch off the saver lights, although the cool weather meant they were saving plenty on the A.C. already. The extensive CCTV system seemed excessive for such a small building and made me uneasy about whether they might watch us in the room. Late at night, they made noise right outside my door while bargaining with another customer over a room. At checkout, they didn't give me a receipt.

The owners and staff were cooperative, and checkout time was flexible. Melody food park is just around the corner, with Centaurus nearby too. My bedroom was nicely built, though the bedsheets were a bit old on my last visit.

Third-class service. Neighbors confirmed this is a guest house, but it's on private property where the Interior Ministry prohibits taking paying guests. When I asked for a room, they refused to admit it was a guest house. Why advertise online if you won't offer rooms to guests?
