The rooms were spotless, and the location and parking were great. Food was a 7/10. Service, though, gets only 2 stars. Whenever we asked for something, we kept hearing that it was the off season. If you're taking guests and giving them rooms, you should still provide the full service they need.

The room was dirty, the bathroom smelled, and there were no heaters despite the cold. At night the power was cut, supposedly because it was the off season, and they didn't turn on the generators. We couldn't get glasses or plates after 9 PM. The dinner was cold, and breakfast was cold and poorly organized, with neither juice nor drinking water available. Housekeeping and room service were lacking, and the staff were unprofessional. That was a huge letdown after my earlier stays at Humming Bird Resort. I'd been there in March 2023, October 2023, and April 2024, and it used to be one of my favorite places. My latest visit, on 15 November 2025, changed how I feel about it. The night before, I stayed at another hotel and had a flawless experience, but I chose Humming Bird again because of my past affection for it. My family and I have sadly decided not to return. It's heartbreaking to see such a beautiful resort lose its charm through mismanagement and declining service. I hope management takes this seriously and restores the standards that once made Humming Bird exceptional.

The location, spectacular views, and good service are why we keep coming back to hummingbird. This was our third visit with the family, and we plan to stay here again. For meals, though, we'll definitely go elsewhere, inshaAllah. Everything we ordered was loaded with chillies, so it wasn't suitable for kids. We asked for 7up with our meal and got lemon up instead. The food and drink options really need a lot of improvement.
