Pyramid International Guest House

I had to edit this after the hotel's response. The lengths they seem willing to go to over a few thousand rupees are disgusting. I'm a doctor, and I was traveling with my father for business. I appreciate the response, though, and they can keep the money. I booked through Agoda, but on arrival I was told there were no rooms. When I asked for a refund, the hotel claimed I had stayed there, which wasn't true. I stayed somewhere else and sent Agoda the receipt. I'd avoid this place.

I never even got a room key, so I can't comment on the rooms. The service deserves one star: the staff were dismissive and careless, and the convenient location doesn't help when they won't honor a confirmed booking. I reserved through a third-party website and had confirmation before arriving. After a long trip, I was told the guest house had overbooked and had no room for me. They told me to contact the platform and offered no further help, leaving me without a room late in the evening. I've stayed in hotels and guest houses in several countries and never experienced anything like it. A responsible place would help find alternative accommodation or talk to the booking partner, but this showed no respect or responsibility. Avoid this place completely. There are plenty of guest houses in Islamabad that value their guests, and this one didn't.

The staff were polite and behaved well, and the room and surroundings were nice. I spent a night here recently and had a good experience with my family. It's in a nice location in Islamabad, and I'd recommend staying here when visiting.

The owner and staff made me feel welcome from the start, even bringing me a calming cup of green tea. That led to hours of fun conversation and laughter, more like seeing old friends than staying at a hotel. It's a charming place in Islamabad if you want the comfort of home along with a bit of discovery. Highly recommend it for its warmth, authentic feel and prime location.
