Four Season Guest House

The bathroom was the worst part of my stay. The toilets were squat toilets, there was only a shower head and bucket, and they didn’t provide soap. A hole in the bathroom wall let cockroaches come and go while you were using it. We even saw a bug under the mattress, so watch out when you get into bed. The bed itself was basically a wooden box with a sleeping pad on top. My Pakistani best friend invited my wife and me to a wedding in Karachi. I travel a lot and can usually put up with low quality hotels, but this one was bad. It’s in an alley on an extremely narrow road. You have to buzz to get in and climb stairs that don’t even look like part of the hotel, with exposed wire that seemed very unsafe. The lobby is just a small room where a bunch of guys sit watching TV and barely speak English. About five doors from there lead to the rooms. When I walked in, I wanted to leave. The walls are covered in spray can foam, and a curtained window in the room looks into the lobby, only feet from the front desk. This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in.
