Galaxy Inn Guest House

We were worried when we arrived because we couldn’t find a better hotel for the family wedding, but we ended up feeling safe and enjoying our stay. My family and I were well looked after by the staff. The manager can be a bit strict and less accommodating, though the staff are kind and nice.

We booked two rooms and paid 9,000 PKR to keep them until 5:00 pm, when all the guests had left. One family waited nearly six hours for a room, which was only handed over at 6:00 pm after we were first given a room on the 1st floor for 27th December and then told to move downstairs because the whole floor was booked. At checkout, management still insisted we leave at 12:00 pm, despite our request for an adjustment after the late handover and long wait in the lobby. Our flight was at 5:00 pm, and we were charged an additional 4,000 PKR for the room. This was extremely unfair and disappointing. We had asked for late checkout only for the room given late, since the delay was caused by the hotel, not us. By any hospitality standard, making a family wait that long is unacceptable. If management recognizes the inconvenience, it should also recognize that a noon checkout after such a late handover was unreasonable. Instead, they imposed extra charges. Waiting guests for hours and charging them for time lost because of the hotel’s own issue shows poor customer handling. We stand by our feedback and hope management takes responsibility instead of blaming guests. They will answer to Allah for their actions.

There were far too many mosquitoes in the room. When I complained, they sprayed it, but the smell was bad and bothersome. They charged for a water bottle, and there was no breakfast. Parking wasn’t proper either.

The rooms at Galaxy inn guest house were clean and neat. The staff were helpful, cooperative, and respectful. Loved it.
