We stayed at the hotel for 18 days, arriving on 21st Dec 2025. On the 25th I noticed my gold necklace and three small tops were missing from my jewellery box. The gold was worth 8 lac rupees and weighed almost 25 gms. I told the staff, but they only had everyone pledge on the Holy Quran that they hadn't taken anything. I didn't go to the police. The trip was obviously filled with sadness, and there was no compensation.

The hotel's convenient location makes it easy to reach, and the reception area is welcoming. Staff were generally polite and cooperative. The rooms are functional and reasonably spacious, but there's room to improve the beds and mattresses, as well as the cleanliness of the rooms day to day. Sheets, pillow covers, and blankets should be clean, fresh, and free of stains. I also had concerns about salty or old-tasting bathroom water and would expect fresh water for bathing. Room service could respond faster to food orders, amenities, and other requests. Better toiletries, more working outlets, more TV channels, and reliable WiFi would help. The AC and temperature controls need regular checks, too. The on-site dining menu could offer more variety, and its taste, food quality, and hygiene should be more consistent. Hotel Faran has potential as a decent place to stay in Karachi. Better water, service, linens, and facilities could make it a much more comfortable and satisfying choice.

The breakfast I had at this hotel some time ago was a real pleasure, and the food was delicious. I was impressed by the staff and their service.
