Hotel Mehran

I won't be coming back to Mehran Hotel. My executive room connected to another room, so we could hear each other's voices and there was no privacy for the families. The service didn't justify the extra amount I paid, and it was a very bad experience. Nobody clearly told me that the in-room snacks cost extra. Snacks should be complimentary, not just decoration pieces. Being charged over PKR 4,000+ for a soft drink, chips, and jelly without being told first was unreasonable. I'd expect clearer pricing and better value.

We had already booked and paid in advance, so there was no way to back out. Once the fast opened, my family were the ones who left the venue. It was so crowded that we couldn't manage iftaar or dinner, not even the plates. People were impatient because the service was slow and poor. We waited for the crowd to settle, but it grew after iftaar. It seemed they had taken more bookings than the space could handle. Yesterday's iftaar dinner at HOTEL MEHRAN was a terrible experience. I would never suggest anyone waste their time and money on it.

The room was clean, but very old, and the breakfast was only average. Hot water was a problem, the washroom fittings were dated, and there was no hair Drayer. I got just two towels, with no floor towel. There's no feedback process that I could see. The rates are as high as 4 or 5 star hotels, while the room service food was below average.

The room itself was average, and the roadside rooms were so noisy they made it harder to feel comfortable. The food was good and enjoyable, though. Airport pickup was average too. I waited about 45 minutes, and it looked like the driver was waiting for another passenger who never showed up. At check-in, the front desk hadn't been updated about my reservation, so I had to wait unnecessarily. That felt unprofessional.
