Caravanserai Hunza

The rooms were clean and well maintained, with super soft beds. Good food, great service, and a good location. Warm water was available too. It’s locally owned, and I had a delightful experience. P.S. The water looks gray because that’s how it comes from the natural spring supplying the area. It’s clean, but has a high concentration of natural minerals, so it’s not recommended for drinking.

The hotel’s management and staff were the biggest plus for us. Their attitude was so good, with positive behavior and a willingness to accept any demand. Breakfast was good in both quality and quantity, and they even provided hot water in the washroom at 4 am for prayers, which was a real plus. It’s a nice, neat and clean place to spend a family vacation, with really nice service. The room standard could be improved a bit. Muddy water is a real problem in hotels all across Hunza and should be addressed by management. I’d suggest using mud colour sinks and tiles in the washroom, since it’s really difficult to see the water colour on white sinks. Good job and great hospitality, please keep it up.

The staff made me feel so welcome, and the location was just right. I had a wonderful stay from beginning to end. Highly recommend.

The owner is very supportive and a great personality. The hotel is new, with distinctive architecture, and the staff are decent. They could use more professional customer service training, especially to be friendlier and more efficient. There’s room to improve overall, and I wish the place a bright future 🙏
