Hunza Lounge

The breathtaking views from the guest house were matched by a simple but fabulous breakfast in the dining room overlooking the Himalayas. We had fresh, lovely dinners served by Shakeel, and the team promptly took care of everything we needed at the property. Our family had the most perfect trip, and I found this to be the most beautiful place I've ever seen, even though I've travelled reasonably widely. We'd wanted to visit Hunza for years, and finally made it in April 2026. I booked Hunza Lounge because it was near the bazaar and had brilliant reviews. It exceeded our expectations. We also booked a fully guided airport-to-airport trip through ‘Hunza Lounge adventures’. Noushad runs a fabulous guest house with a caring, attentive team who made the service personal. Communication was quick from the start. We had just 12 days for our family of five travelling from the UK, so the schedule was tight. When our Gilgit flight was cancelled, we had to fly to skardu instead and change our dates. Noushad accommodated everything at short notice and arranged for the driver to go to skardu. He also put together a four full day itinerary covering Hunza. We saw Hopper valley, the forts, ancient local villages, hosseni bridge, and Borith lake, then drove to China border with views of Attabad lake. His local knowledge was impeccable, and he seems to know everyone in Hunza. For the service we got, it was adequately priced. Noushad made the trip perfect. I look forward to returning in summer for the fruits. If you're thinking of visiting Hunza, stop looking and book Hunza Lounge. You won't regret it. I can't recommend it enough.
