Ali and the rest of the staff were very welcoming and friendly. I had a great view from my room, and they could arrange things like a car transfer, tour, or laundry for fair prices. One of the best places I’ve stayed in Pakistan.

At Old Hunza Inn, I felt more at home than in a hotel. It’s cozy and welcoming, with a little book corner where you can sit with tea and look out at the mountains. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well equipped, and the location was peaceful while still close to the main attractions. Breakfast was delicious, and dinner was a highlight too, with fresh, flavorful local dishes served with care. What I’ll remember most is the kindness and dedication of the owner, Liaqat. When my travel friend went missing on a hike to the Ultar Glacier, he called for help and personally joined the rescue team, helping bring her back safely. His compassion, courage, and concern went far beyond what I could have expected. This place restored my faith in humanity. I can’t recommend it highly enough.

The food and the thoughtful care really stood out during our stay at Old Hunza Inn. We were there from May13 to May17, 2026, and the attention to detail made the hospitality feel especially warm. I’d love to come back and enjoy it again.

The lounge looks out over the whole valley, which was wonderful. We spent four days here and didn’t run into a single problem. The owner was especially welcoming and helpful, and I’d definitely come back whenever I’m in Hunza.
