The common washroom was clean and well maintained, so not having an attached one at this price didn’t bother me. I’d only booked for one night and asked the polite receptionist for a decent room at a fair rate. He offered a suitable option with two beds. The staff seemed positive, welcoming, and cooperative from the first half hour, which made a strong impression. So far, it’s been a pleasant stay. I’ll share more after checkout.

I left City Palace Guest House feeling frustrated, and it was a total waste of money. The rooms were in very poor shape, unhygienic, and not maintained, while the surroundings felt uncomfortable and below basic standards. Staff were rude, unprofessional, and unwilling to cooperate. Even after repeated complaints, there was no hot water, which showed complete neglect of a basic guest need. The service quality was extremely low. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.

The rooms are cramped, and the price is too high for the space, comfort, and service on offer. I wouldn’t recommend it.

The night staff at City Palace Guest House, Sukkur were rude and uncooperative even after I complained several times. For most of the night, the AC and power outlets in our room were switched off. Staff said there were power outages, but I thought that explanation was fake. At 4 a.m., I caught their laundry guy ironing while our room still had no electricity. Completely unprofessional. I don’t recommend staying here. If you do, only pay if the power is working properly.

The staff were good and responsible, and the rooms were furnished well and had air conditioning. Still, the place was only above average for me because they often shut off the AC breaker during the day and blamed power outages. Restricted AC use was the main problem.
