I had to leave in a hurry because my flight was early the next morning and I had a fever, but Hotel Al Safina should sort out the rooms before handing them over to guests. I stayed on the 4th floor, though I can’t remember the room number. The booking was under “Muhammad Ishaque.” I chose a non-AC room after being offered AC and non-AC options. The fan was old, fixed to the wall, had a broken grill, and only blew in one direction. Even setting that aside, the room was in awful condition. The bed, at least, should have been clean, but it had bedbugs. I personally killed around 10, and there were hairs on the bed and cigarette butts scattered around. The washroom was worse still. The rent was similar to other places where rooms are clean and well maintained. It was a very bad experience.

The room was good enough, but the hotel's design is poor. We had to walk up to the sixth floor. There is a lift, but they reserve it for staff. Service wasn't that good either.

The pillows and blankets were dirty, with girls' hair on them. The food wasn't great, the swimming pool wasn't working, and the Wi-Fi was awful. A really bad hotel.
