The view was beautiful and the service was top-notch. Gold Crest Apartments in Lahore was a great stay for me: clean, fully air-conditioned, with modern new furniture and a lovely overall feel. The deal was handled politely and professionally. I'd highly recommend it for a comfortable, luxurious stay in Lahore.

The photos look great, but my 14th-floor apartment was filthy and unhygienic, with bugs, burned spots on the coffee tables and sofas, a fridge that barely worked, and showers that didn't work properly. When cleaners eventually came, they used dirty cloths and mops, so I had to buy my own. Management didn't seem to care how often I asked, and did things on their terms and timing, especially since I had booked through AirBNB or another UK platform. It's an expensive stay and not worth it. The mall itself is pointless, except Al-Fatah department store is very convenient for groceries. Avoid it.

The location is good, but cleanliness needs a lot more attention. Our apartment had loads of ants, and bedbugs and cockroaches were found in some rooms. That points to poor apartment maintenance.

I wouldn't stay here again. The booking was for a 4-bedroom apartment for six adults and two kids, but we were first put in a two-bedroom place while we waited, then told the original apartment wasn't available and offered the first one again when we returned around 8 or 9 after shopping. The place we were moved to had only three rooms. I arrived in Lahore around 3 or 4 a.m. and waited far too long for the two drivers they had sent to meet us. In the apartments, there were dead flies everywhere, white stains on the sofa, a fishy smell in the first one, and the floors were so dirty my feet turned black when I took off my socks. The cleaners left most of the flies behind, sprayed air freshener, and called that a job, even after I asked someone to sweep the floors. They couldn't be bothered to clean the stained sofas either, and the towels were put on them. The AC was loud all night, there was only one roll of tissue and nothing else, and a chair fell over and broke. There was also a broken table. I saw bugs in the bathroom. The bidet pressure was so strong it could hurt, one bidet leaked, and one toilet kept running and wouldn't flush properly. Only one shower worked well, the fridge didn't get cold even after drinks had been in it for over four hours, and the sofa was very uncomfortable to sleep on. It felt like I'd have to pay extra to get the service I had already paid for. If you think this is a decent place, please rethink that choice.
