Guests generally rate Saffron D'or Hotels Lahore as good, around 7.4/10. It's a budget-to-mid-range hotel with some very positive points, though service and quality control can be quite inconsistent.

The rooms smelled so bad I felt like vomiting. There was an extra 3,000 plus tax for a matras too. Maybe there were lots of gems because of the smell. I recommend not visiting.

The staff were very uncooperative, the service was pathetic, and the environment was awful. I'd read the reviews already but thought things might have improved since then. Please don't waste your money or time here.

We were kept waiting for quite a while when we arrived to check in, with no welcome. The reception staff seemed indifferent and unprofessional, and weren't friendly, helpful, or interested in communicating. The room they gave us was already dirty, the sheets smelled bad, and most of the amenities we'd been told about weren't there. When we asked for service, our request was ignored. Even when we complained, the staff just kept delaying us instead of dealing with it. We expected better. This felt like a place that deserved less than one star, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
