Alpine Hotel Nathiagali

We had lunch outside on the restaurant deck, and the location and views were breathtaking. I loved the place, and the Chinese food was very good. It was a very good experience overall, but the service needs attention. The restaurant was crowded, which may explain some of it, though they should still have more staff. We had to ask three times to get our table cleaned. The food arrived before the plates and cutlery, which came almost five minutes later after we asked. Since it was cold, the food wasn’t as warm as it should have been. The restaurant is beautiful and clearly popular, but people expect good service too, so management should keep standards up. I’d also suggest removing the service charge from the bill and leaving tips to visitors. In my experience, that could encourage better service.

The setting was lovely, with great views and good seating both indoors and outside. Service was great too. The food was average for the price, though. I didn’t like the mushroom chicken steak, and the pizza was just okay. The fries we got for our toddler were surprisingly good and a decent portion. The chai was great as well. All in all, a good experience.

The food and service beat every place I’ve tried, including Massoniaate muree, Ramada Murree, Roomys Muree, Elites Nathiygali, Afaq, and Taj. The quality and quantity were amazing, and the staff were very well mannered. It’s a beautiful place to dine out, with tree decks and plenty of parking. I haven’t stayed there, so I can’t comment on the rooms, though they looked very nice. One thing they should add is road reflectors. The road is steep, and people could go off track at night. Highly recommend it for a memorable meal.

The setting is the main draw here. You get a view of Mushkpuri Top, and there’s a tree house seating area. The guest rooms are small but thoughtfully designed. Still, the food lacks flavor, so for me it’s really all about the surroundings.
