Cecil has its ups and downs. I used vouchers to book the family studio suite, which seemed like the best option for using them. We appreciated having space, and the old style main building with its other rooms and suites is beautiful. I imagine those rooms are better, since they're more expensive. Our studio was basic and poorly maintained, and it was mostly cold because there was no proper heating. Service was a little slow, though the staff were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was average and the service weak. There are good points too: the food at the front page cafe is nice, and there are horse riding and ballon popping activities on the property. There's a small, pleasant garden for sitting and relaxing, plus ample on-site parking. It's conveniently near mall road, about a 5-6 minute walk. Walking is better since there's no proper parking there.

The staff were especially helpful when snow left vehicles stuck. They cleared the snow off the cars and helped get them out, and the hotel's tight security deserves credit too. Staying at Cecil felt a bit like being at home, and the whole visit was nice. The rooms, particularly in the heritage building, could use better cleaning and maintenance, though. It's a cool place to stay in Murree, and I'd choose it again.

Our stay was great, and the heritage building is beautiful and well looked after. The studio rooms could be better, though. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Mr. Tanzeel at reception, who was very courteous.

The food was good quality, and dining there felt cozy. Our room was in good shape, with classic interiors, and the staff were attentive and courteous. The restored heritage building has a peaceful, elegant feel, with lovely hill views. Cecil by Pearl Continental mixes colonial character with modern comfort, and made for a relaxing stay with a bit of old-fashioned luxury.

The room was spacious and nice, with hot water and enough heating. Breakfast was amazing, and the staff were so friendly. My one issue was the bathroom exhaust, which ran nonstop and pulled the warm air out of the room, making it hard to keep things warm. Room 242 has the exhaust on its rooftop, and it sounded like a truck parked beside us. The exhaust should run for no more than an hour twice a day, once in the morning and once in the evening. Apart from that, everything was great. Thank you!
