Murree home(On The rocks) Gharial camp

The house was clean, and the housekeeper was helpful. It's a decent choice if you want quiet away from the bustle of the Murree bazaar, but not if you plan to visit the city every day. The drive up from the main road is long and steep. The layout is spread over several levels: one bedroom, a living room, and a kitchen on the ground floor; two bedrooms and a terrace upstairs; then another terrace on a third level with a view. Moving between floors isn't ideal. We lost one geaser, and its replacement didn't work either.

The location was my main concern. Another apartment blocks the front view, so there's no valley view. You also have to drive 1-2 km from the main road whenever you need something, and that road is challenging and dangerous. Inside, though, the rooms were very clean and everything was up to the mark: hot and cold water, washrooms, kitchen, gas, internet, TV lounge, terrace, and the other facilities. Prices are reasonable compared with other places.

Nadeem sahab was a kind host. There were just three of us, and he welcomed us and lowered the price when we asked. The house is steeply downhill from Gharial camp gate, away from the city noise. It has a lovely atmosphere and has been refurnished with a design the owner clearly has good taste in. The downsides were poor GSM signal inside, slow internet, and Netflix not working. The kitchen, one bedroom, and TV lounge are on the ground floor, two more bedrooms are on the first floor, and the BBQ area is at the top, around the fourth floor, with a good view. The housekeeper was nice, but having access to everything bothered me. He stores his belongings inside the house, and there's also a driver's room with a door opening into the house. I'm sure he's trustworthy, but I was still uncomfortable with that setup.

The house was neat, clean, and had all the facilities we needed. I came with my family and loved every moment. Mr. Nadeem, the owner, is humble and caring, and the caretaker Mr. Zulfiqar was polite and accommodating in every way. One of the best experiences of my life. I'd give it six stars if I could, and would love to come back.
