The location is the standout, right by the bus stop and main Madina Market, with the area lively around the clock if that's your thing. For around 2000 PKR a night, the rooms are okay and the service is fine. Hotel Al Atiq is a budget-friendly choice in Muzaffarabad.

We stayed for two nights with the family, and the fresh, tasty food at the restaurant was a plus since it stays open 24 hours. The rooms were neat and clean, WiFi was free, and the staff were very good. I found it the best hotel in Muzaffarabad and would happily stay again. Highly recommend it to everybody.

The place is inexpensive and sits right in the city center, with restaurants, transport, and nice views just outside. Still, it was below average at best. There was no warm water for bathing in September, and parking was just on the roadside, which didn't feel very suitable. Around ten times during our stay, someone randomly pushed at our door and tried to open it without knocking. The lock stopped them.

The nashta with egg and pratha is good, right in front of the Muzaffarabad bus stand. We paid 1000 for a room, but it had no ventilation at all. After we agreed to that deal, we moved to a room with a window and paid another 500.
