My family and I stayed at Amin Hotel Peshawar from March 28 to March 31, 2026, while we were grieving a recent death in the family. The stay added to that difficult time. We couldn’t sleep because our room had German cockroaches crawling on the beds and our luggage. My wife and young children were horrified. When we reported the insects, the staff didn’t offer another room. They sprayed insecticide inside the room while we were still there, and afterward it was very difficult to breathe. That’s especially dangerous for children. The staff seemed helpful, but using chemicals with guests in the room shows a complete lack of basic safety training. Cleanliness: 1/5. Service: 2/5, the staff tried but handled the infestation dangerously. Sleep quality: 0/5. I strongly advise families with children to avoid this hotel. The cockroach infestation and unsafe chemical practices are unacceptable. There are safer, cleaner options in Peshawar.

Even with busy surroundings, the atmosphere inside Amin Hotel Peshawar is peaceful, and families may find it a safe, reliable choice. It’s in the heart of the city, near the main markets, bus stands, and food spots, which is practical for locals and visitors alike. The rooms are clean, cozy, and well-maintained for the price. Air conditioning, Wi-Fi, and room service are available, and breakfast and tea are nice touches. The friendly, cooperative staff are ready to help with things like transport or luggage, making it a comfortable and convenient budget stay.

The minibar was comparatively expensive. It had 2 bottles of water, 4 juices, and 2 tins of drinks. The food quality was okay, and the room price was a little high, though the service made it feel worth the money. Amin Hotel is in a calm, peaceful area. Our spacious, well-maintained room was nicely arranged, and we decorated it, which added to the experience. All the necessary amenities were provided. The staff were cooperative, well-trained, and well-disciplined, and the stay was decent overall if budget isn’t a major concern.

One drawback for families staying here is that the staff seem to expect tips all the time. They may come over to carry even a small shopping bag, then expect a tip.

I stayed in October 2025. I was alone and took a single-bed room, but couldn’t sleep and almost got sick from the strange moldy smell. There was no window or ventilation in the room, and the washroom was covered in mold because of the poor ventilation.
