The location is fine, though the parking space is a little short. I did run into a parking issue, but they provided parking. The room was peaceful and comfortable, and its furnishings and accessories were all good. Service was fast, and the staff were very cooperative. Highly recommend.

We had lunch at Marjan Restaurant with some friends. The setting and sitting area were pleasant and comfortable, and the staff were friendly, attentive, and accommodating. Service was prompt, which made the meal more enjoyable. The food was the letdown: even with plenty of choices on the menu, what we tried was average in taste and presentation, and didn’t meet our expectations for flavor or freshness. It’s an okay place for a casual meal with friends, but the food quality was disappointing, so don’t expect anything exceptional.

The mattresses were rock solid, and there was pubic hair in the washrooms from previous guests. The AC wasn’t working, there was no hot water, and the electrical sockets were broken. WiFi was poor and slow, and the tea prices felt like a rip off.

Mar Jan Hotel in Rawalakot has spacious, clean rooms with beautiful hill views, and comfortable stays at good value. The restaurant serves tasty local and international food, with friendly staff providing excellent service. It’s a good choice for a peaceful getaway and dining. Rating: 4.5/5.
