The restaurant is one of the nicest in Skardu, with delicious food. The rooms are really nice too, and the ambience inside is lovely.

I found Dewan-e-Khas peaceful and quiet, set back from the main road but still close to everything in Skardu. The host was welcoming, friendly, honest, and ready to help with whatever I needed. The hotel was clean and well maintained, and having a good restaurant on-site was convenient. I stayed six nights and thought it was excellent value for money. I'd highly recommend it to anyone visiting Skardu.

The dumplings at dewanekhas had a taste unlike any I've tried before, and we had a wonderful dinner. The owner and her staff were very welcoming and friendly. Just so you know, it's not a restaurant. They make and serve the food in their home.
