The location is amazing, and the rooms are modern and clean. The building is fairly new, and the lift was a real help with two kids and a stroller. Without it, getting around would've been a challenge. I booked a lake view room, but we were given a room without the view. At first they said we had made a mistake, but our reservation showed that they were the ones who'd got it wrong. There weren't any lake view rooms left. They gave us a two-bedroom instead of a one-bedroom and added breakfast as compensation, which was more comfortable. Still, I'd have preferred the lake view, even in a less comfortable room, instead of looking out at the parking lot and construction site. That's one star off. Breakfast was disappointing, especially for the hotel price. As an Italian, I start my day with good coffee, and the free coffee at the buffet wasn't good. You could buy a somewhat better coffee at the bar, for extra money. I was also unhappy to see the free coffee called 'Italian coffee'. Are you joking? I felt offended, but bought coffee at the bar every morning because I couldn't drink the one at breakfast. That's another star off. The orange juice tasted like effervescent tablets dropped into water, with a chemical taste. It was undrinkable. And the fake plants used as decorations are pretty sad.

I stayed here in winter, but it looked like the place could be even better in summer. It's tucked away in quiet woodland by the lake, and the staff really go the extra mile. The hotel was very clean, the food was great, and there's a nice bar. I was with a larger Mead tour group, and they handled us with class and efficiency. If you're in the area, this is the hotel I'd choose.

The views and location are amazing, and the staff are friendly and great. The price felt a bit high, though it was high season. Our room was okay, with two sofas. I'd have preferred a proper bed, but the sleeping area is very small, so I understand why it's set up that way. Everything else is inside, and there's parking. Breakfast ends very early, at 10, and could be better value for the price.

The views are magnificent, and the grounds are clean and well kept. The restaurant, management and wait staff are all outstanding. As an American visitor, I'd give this hotel and restaurant five stars. Highly recommended while visiting beautiful Augustów. A great place to chill out and relax!

I'm giving five stars to the restaurant only, since I haven't stayed at the resort and can't speak to that. The menu has a good range of dishes at good prices, and the staff are friendly. It's clean, and you get a great view of the lakes from a seat indoors or outside.
